Notes: 1977 was the inaugural year. The 1987 race was marred by a small plane crash on the course during the race, blocking the course on the third of four loops. The lead runner, John Fournier, had already passed the crash site but was so distraught that he did not finish the race. Brad Roberts, the race director, rerouted the course, allowing eight runners who wanted to continue, to finish the race. Afterwards, it was learned that there were two fatilities among the passengers of the plane.
