Notes: 1978 was the inaugural year. Thru 1987, this race was part of a group of races known as Funfest and included a half marathon and 10 km. In 1988, the marathon was dropped for lack of interest but the half marathon and 10 km continued thru 1991. In 1992, only 10 km and 2 mile races were held and in 1993, there were no races. In 1994, the marathon was resumed under its present name and conducted by the Lone Star Running Club. The race was discontinued in 2005.
