Notes: 1979 was the inaugural year. The 1994 race was not held due to a lack of sponsors. The 1980-1982 races were known
as the Chasquis Marathon, the 1992-1993 races were known as the Alberta Capital City Marathon, the 1995
race was known as the Edmonton Capital City Marathon, the 2000-2001 races were known as the Edmonton Festival Marathon,
and the 2002-2003 races were known as the Race the Twilight Marathon. The 2001 race date was changed from August
to avoid a conflict with the IAAF World Championships, held in Edmonton in August of that year.
